Rock climbing is my favorite activity.  I like to go outside in the wilderness, through the thick jungle of rocks, until I find the perfect one to climb.  I gaze at its beauty and its crimson glow.  As I slip on my climbing shoes, they squeeze my feet, hugging every curve.

My hands are powdered with white chalk.  I grasp a pocket in the rock and climb higher and higher.  My arms shake with excitement and my legs quiver with fear.  I look down and see my father holding the rope that gives me the power to climb across the boundary of height.  I put my hand in a pouch that holds chalk.  I look to the left and i see the treetops, the blue sky.  I look up--I'm almost there.  It's a pity that I do not have enough time to enjoy this beautiful site.  I reach out my hand to grab the top of the mountain, conquering my fear of heights.

Rock climbing allows you to go beyond the boundaries of height and break the chains of fear.
